2008 X3-Noise Scientific Workshop Bilbao

Turbomachinery Broadband Noise

The 12th annual Workshop of CEAS-ASC and 3rd Scientific Workshop of  X3-Noise on the topic "Turbomachinery Broadband Noise" was held on 23th & 24th October in Bilbao, Spain, at the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao and it was organized by both the Centro de Tecnologias Aeronauticas (CTA, Bilbao) and the Instituto Nacional de Tecnica Aerospacial (INTA, Madrid).
63 people attended - coming from most EU countries and from Russia, Japan, Brazil and the US.
There were three keynote lectures and six sessions: Characterization of Turbulence, Broadband Noise Sources, Blade Response and Sound Radiation, Computational Methodologies, Broadband Noise Theories, and Experimental Approaches.
