2001 X-Noise Seminar Predael

Worldwide Technology Seminar

The 2001 X-NOISE Seminar was organised on June 5  &  6  in  Predeal (Romania)  under the title : "Worldwide Technology Seminar".

Some forty invited aircraft noise specialists from EU, US, Japan, Canada, Brasil, Poland, Ukraine and Romania gathered to review the activities going on within the main research programmes worldwide and express their views on such issues as technology monitoring, long term objectives, tradeoffs and margins.

The information shared and the concluding discussions of the seminar directly lead to the organisation of the first Noise Technology Workshop held in December 2001 within the frame of ICAO to inform the CAEP members on aircraft noise reduction technology prospects and related industrial issues.
